Vice President of Affordable Housing Property Management

The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President for Affordable Housing Property Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operational, financial, and compliance performance of an assigned affordable housing portfolio across multiple markets. This role involves leading a team of Regional Managers, setting strategic direction, and ensuring the portfolio's financial and operational health. Key responsibilities include owning the portfolio's performance metrics, setting regional strategy, and maintaining compliance with various affordable housing program requirements. The RVP will also be involved in team development, conducting site visits, and partnering with senior leadership to meet portfolio-wide goals. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' of progressive property management experience, with a focus on affordable housing and multi-site oversight. A deep working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD/Section 8, and state housing finance agency compliance requirements is essential. The role requires a proven track record in managing a large, geographically dispersed portfolio and team, as well as experience with property management software. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial and operational acumen, executive-level communication skills, and the ability to lead through influence. Certifications such as CPM, HCCP, or COS are a plus, and Fair Housing certification is required within 7 days of employment. The position demands a high level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and the ability to make sound judgments in compliance and risk situations.
