Associate Vice President, Underwriting Cyber

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Cyber Underwriting to lead a team of underwriters and deliver production goals aligned with divisional strategy. Responsibilities include coaching and managing team performance, underwriting complex and high-severity risks, and building and maintaining strategic broker relationships. The role also involves managing a portfolio in accordance with underwriting guidelines, meeting new and renewal business targets, quoting and binding accounts, and sharing market intelligence with the broader team. As a subject matter expert, the successful candidate will contribute to business growth and product differentiation. Candidates should have 8–10 years of relevant underwriting experience, including leadership exposure, and a strong understanding of technical underwriting principles and risk assessment. A bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business, or a related field is preferred, as are professional designations such as CPCU or AU. Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, sound judgment with complex risks, and the ability to build broker and client relationships are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail are also expected.
