The Company is seeking a Vice President of Digital Engineering to lead cross-functional engineering capabilities for a large-scale digital platform. The role partners with Product leadership to shape the roadmap and oversees engineering for digital identity and account management, payments, solutions engineering, and AI capabilities. Responsibilities include setting architectural direction, building reusable engineering frameworks, and delivering secure, reliable, scalable services. The leader will also own production reliability, incident response, and operational performance while managing a large engineering organization and driving fast, high-quality delivery. Candidates should have at least 15 years of digital software development and engineering experience, including 10 or more years in technology leadership, and an earlier career background as a hands-on engineer or architect. Experience leading multiple teams totaling more than 100 people, shaping product roadmaps, and delivering enterprise-scale cloud systems is required. Deep expertise in software architecture, APIs, microservices, DevSecOps, CI/CD, reliability practices, digital identity, and payment security is essential. Candidates should also bring experience delivering AI or generative AI solutions, including LLM evaluation, retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration, and responsible AI practices; healthcare or startup experience is an advantage.
