Managing Director

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its residential children's services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership, operational performance, regulatory standing, commercial growth, and financial sustainability of the organization. This role demands an exceptional strategic leader with a proven track record in multi-site children's residential care, particularly within Ofsted-regulated provision. The Managing Director will work in collaboration with the executive leadership team to ensure the delivery of outstanding outcomes for children and young people, while also driving sustainable growth and quality excellence in line with the company's vision and strategic objectives. Key responsibilities for the Managing Director include developing and leading the long-term strategy, maintaining strong regulatory standing, and promoting a culture of safeguarding and child-centered services. The role also involves providing executive leadership across all services, building and leading a high-performing team, and fostering influential relationships with local authorities, regulators, and strategic partners. The ideal candidate will have significant senior leadership experience, a relevant professional qualification in social care or children's services, and a strong understanding of safeguarding, corporate parenting, and risk management. They should be adept at balancing strategic direction with operational oversight, and be committed to the values of the organization, including continuous improvement, equality, and inclusion.
