Associate Vice President of Investment Accounting

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Investment Accounting to lead and oversee investment accounting and reporting across a broad portfolio of asset classes. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate GAAP and statutory month-, quarter-, and year-end reporting; developing and reviewing financial reports; and supporting investment initiatives and business strategies. The role also involves managing and developing an investment accounting team, building relationships with auditors and internal partners, and monitoring relevant financial reporting and regulatory developments. The successful candidate will help advance a scalable, technology-enabled accounting function and may use approved AI tools to improve reporting, audit support, and regulatory documentation. Candidates should have at least 14 years of investment accounting and financial reporting experience and a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in accounting; a CPA is preferred. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and statutory accounting for investment products in the insurance industry is required, including expertise in private credit and experience with complex investments. Applicants should be able to meet recurring reporting deadlines, resolve financial issues, and manage multiple priorities. Curiosity about emerging technologies, sound judgment in validating AI-generated work, and a commitment to responsible technology use within governance and compliance requirements are also important.
