Vice President, Digital Assets Operational Risk Greater Dallas, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President to join its Wealth Management Operational Risk team. The successful candidate will be a key partner with the Wealth Management business and related control groups, serving as the 2nd Line subject matter expert for digital asset-related operational risk matters. This role involves liaising with various risk teams to ensure an integrated approach to digital asset risks, actively participating in the review and approval of new digital asset products and services, and advising on process and control design. The Vice President will also be responsible for assessing operational risk impacts, performing risk assessments, and driving a proactive approach to operational risk management. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in blockchain and digital asset activities, with a preference for experience in financial services. A strong understanding of blockchain, Web3 activities, and associated regulations is essential, as is knowledge of operational risk management concepts. The role requires a self-starter with strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, who can work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines. The candidate should be a demonstrated collaborator, capable of maintaining independence and providing effective challenge, and hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
