Vice President, Head of Risk & Control Product

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Head of Risk & Control Product to lead product strategy and delivery for payment-related risk capabilities, including credit risk, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and fraud. The role owns the product roadmap and governance, translating risk policies and operational needs into scalable solutions across payment types and regions. Responsibilities include aligning risk, compliance, engineering, operations, and business partners; leading complex platform initiatives from design through launch; and defining performance and control-effectiveness measures. The successful candidate will also set direction for the function, communicate progress to senior stakeholders, and build and develop a high-performing product team. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in payments, risk management, or product management. Deep knowledge of payments risk—including credit risk, AML, sanctions, and fraud—is required, along with a record of end-to-end product ownership and delivery of complex initiatives. Strong communication, stakeholder management, influencing, analytical, and organizational skills are essential, as is experience with structured delivery planning and tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Experience in first-line risk or senior product roles, credit risk platforms, and transaction banking or corporate payments risk capabilities is preferred.
