Head of Procurement

The Company is seeking a Head of Procurement to lead and enhance its procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering the procurement strategy, coordinating procurement activities, and ensuring effective strategic sourcing of key raw materials. This role is pivotal in driving improvements in the procurement function, providing leadership to the team, and securing supply continuity, value, quality, and commercial competitiveness. The Head of Procurement will also be tasked with critically evaluating and improving procurement processes, leading key supplier negotiations, and ensuring that all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant governance requirements. Candidates for the Head of Procurement position must be proven procurement professionals with a strong track record in manufacturing, particularly in the strategic sourcing of raw materials. Essential skills include experience in negotiating with international blue-chip suppliers, developing and delivering procurement strategies, and managing 3PL contracts. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, strategic, and innovative thinker with strong leadership and negotiation skills. They should be adept at driving performance improvement, be proactive, and demonstrate a 'can do' approach. A change agent with the ability to create a vision and deliver best-in-class processes, the Head of Procurement will also be responsible for fostering close working relationships with stakeholder departments and promoting a culture of supplier excellence.
