The Company is seeking a General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to serve as its senior legal executive and strategic partner to executive leadership. The role leads the regional legal function, providing practical counsel that supports business objectives while managing legal and regulatory risks. Responsibilities include developing legal talent and succession plans, improving operations through digital and AI-enabled tools, and advising on growth, innovation, restructuring, and transformation initiatives. The General Counsel will also support commercial, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and operational matters. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor degree and an active license to practice law in Michigan, with at least 15 years of legal experience in a law firm or multinational corporate environment. Significant automotive industry experience is preferred. The role requires a record of leading geographically dispersed teams, strong executive and board-level communication, and experience with digital transformation, legal operations, AI applications, or legal technology.
