Head of Department, Property & Casualty Tariff Development

The Company is seeking a department head to lead tariff development for property and casualty insurance. Responsibilities include managing a team and overseeing the development, calculation, and refinement of products across liability, property, accident, and motor insurance. The role involves analyzing claims, risks, and performance indicators; guiding new product and tariff optimization projects; and reviewing profitability and actuarial analyses. The successful candidate will advise internal teams, strengthen processes and quality standards, and support employees’ professional development. Candidates should hold a degree in mathematics, business mathematics, or a comparable field; an actuarial qualification is preferred. Several years of experience in tariff development or actuarial mathematics within property and casualty insurance, along with strong knowledge of tariff calculation and actuarial metrics, are required. Prior management experience is an advantage, though substantial technical or project leadership experience and readiness to take on people-management responsibilities are also relevant. Strong analytical judgment, decisiveness, a pragmatic approach, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style are essential.
