Head of Finance, FMCG

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the commercial finance agenda, overseeing FP&A, and business partnering. The successful candidate will work closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to influence strategic direction, improve performance, and ensure that the finance function adds significant commercial value. Key responsibilities include shaping business strategy, driving a forward-looking FP&A agenda, providing insight on various financial aspects, leading the financial planning process, and supporting the evaluation of major commercial opportunities. The role also involves developing financial models, identifying risks and opportunities, and building a strong finance team. Applicants must have an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with over 10 years' of post-qualified experience, and a background in a commercially focused finance environment, preferably in FMCG, retail, or a related sector. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and performance management, as well as proven experience in managing and developing finance professionals. The Head of Finance will be expected to have excellent communication skills, the ability to operate at a senior executive level, and a track record of influencing decisions beyond the finance function. The position demands a leader with a strategic mindset, capable of challenging the business and using financial insight to shape key decisions around growth, investment, and performance.
