Head of People

The Company is seeking a Head of People to join their team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in leading the HR and Recruitment functions and developing the people strategy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take ownership of a growing HR function, working closely with senior leadership to shape the people infrastructure, culture, and talent strategy. Key responsibilities include leading and developing the HR and Recruitment teams, implementing a practical HR strategy aligned with business growth, and acting as a trusted HR adviser. The role also involves strengthening HR processes, policies, and systems, as well as leading initiatives in succession planning, internal progression, and management development. Applicants for the Head of People position at the company should have significant senior HR leadership experience, with a background in leading HR teams within a sizeable, multi-site, or people-intensive organization. A strong knowledge of Irish employment law, employee relations, and experience in a regulated environment is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR governance, compliance, and GDPR, as well as a proven track record in management development, succession planning, and talent development. A commercially minded and pragmatic approach to HR, excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills, and the ability to partner with operational managers are also required.
