Vice President, Data Architecture Greater Dublin, Ireland Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Data Architecture to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the design and implementation of modern, scalable data platforms, with a focus on supporting private markets investment workflows. This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for data architecture, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record in designing robust data systems, particularly in cloud environments. The VP, Data Architecture will lead the end-to-end data architecture design, define and enforce data architecture standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform meets enterprise-grade standards for data security, privacy, and compliance. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline, with at least 10 years' of experience in data or software engineering, and a minimum of 5 years in a data architecture role. Key skills include a strong understanding of data modeling, integration patterns, and analytics enablement, as well as experience with cloud-native data technologies, particularly within AWS. The role also requires expertise in real-time data streaming technologies, distributed data processing, and a solid understanding of data security principles. The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD practices for data pipelines, be proficient in SQL, and have a background in programming languages such as Python. The ability to work in a collaborative team environment and outstanding communication skills are essential.
