The role is accountable for day-to-day service delivery, performance, quality, risk, and colleague engagement, while ensuring services are efficient, accurate, and respectful. Responsibilities include leading senior managers, guiding teams through change, and working with policy, digital, and improvement colleagues to introduce changes smoothly into live services. The Head of Operations will also manage complex escalations, contribute operational insight to senior-level briefings, and provide assurance on governance and compliance. Candidates should have experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams in complex operational environments with competing priorities.
