Vice President, US Research & Development Greater Green Bay, WI Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of U.S. Research and Development to shape strategy and lead research teams in delivering growth and innovation goals. Responsibilities include directing product development, ingredient and process optimization, emerging technology research, pilot plant activities, trials, commercialization, and sensory programs. The role will prioritize projects, identify new research opportunities, protect proprietary strategies, and represent R&D with commercial, customer, supply chain, supplier, and operations stakeholders. The Vice President will also lead talent and partner development, collaborate with external research partners, and ensure research and product activities meet food safety, quality, and customer requirements. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in food science, dairy science, or a related field, at least 15 years of experience in research and innovation, and five or more years of research management experience. Required strengths include project management, problem-solving, decision-making, process excellence, and knowledge of dairy science, quality systems, current research techniques, patent matters, and regulatory affairs. Strong presentation, interpersonal, and external stakeholder engagement skills are essential. The role also requires the ability to travel as needed.
