Associate Dean of Research & Innovation, Hairston College

The Company is seeking an Associate Dean of Research and Innovation to join its dynamic academic community. The successful candidate will be a key leader in advancing the research and innovation agenda, with a focus on building and managing a growing research enterprise, strengthening research infrastructure, and expanding multidisciplinary and team-science research. This role is pivotal in fostering interdisciplinary research, developing research partnerships, and ensuring compliance with research requirements. The Associate Dean will also be responsible for strategic planning, operations management, and maintaining an active research program while mentoring faculty, students, and postdoctoral trainees. Applicants for the Associate Dean position must have an earned doctorate in a relevant field, at least five years of experience in funded research, and a strong scholarly record. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large research programs, be adept at building interdisciplinary teams, and have a proven track record of success in procuring and managing sponsored research. A collaborative, service-oriented approach, and the ability to work with a culturally diverse population are essential. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to turn priorities into action, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to advancing the research success of others.
