Vice President, Data Platform & Agentic Engineering Principal Greater Hangzhou, China Area

The Company is in search of a Senior Data Platform and Agentic Engineering Principal (Vice President) to lead the architecture, engineering delivery, and operational excellence of a modern data platform with agentic AI capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading an agile team to deliver scalable solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business and clients. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in data platform architecture, agentic workflow design, data AI agent implementation, and containerized services, as well as proven leadership experience within the financial services sector. Key responsibilities include defining and owning the platform's agentic architecture, designing core data platform capabilities, and partnering with global teams to enhance engineering standards. Applicants must have a Master's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline, with at least 15 years of technology experience in the financial services industry, including senior-level engineering leadership. The role demands hands-on experience in designing and implementing multi-agent workflows, modern data platforms, and enterprise LLMOps and agentic infrastructure pipelines. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, and experience with modern data platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, is essential. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in unstructured data sources, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to deliver results with attention to detail and sound judgment. Preferred qualifications include prior experience as a data platform architect in a financial institution and CFA Level II completion or equivalent certification.
