Head of IT, Manufacturing Sector

The Company is seeking a Head of IT with a strong background in technologies relevant to the manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the IT department, actively participating in IT strategy, budgeting, project implementation, and people management. This role requires the ability to act as a key thought leader, serve as the primary IT business partner to senior stakeholders, and lead digital transformation projects. The Head of IT will also be involved in business analysis, managing the full IT lifecycle, and ensuring that IT solutions align with business needs. Applicants for the Head of IT position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, with at least 10-15 years of IT experience, and a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role. A proven track record in technology leadership within the manufacturing industry is essential. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background in digital solutions and operations, including application development, ERP/CRM systems, eCommerce, infrastructure, and BI tools. Experience with Industry 4.0 projects is a plus. The role demands exceptional business analysis skills, proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and the ability to manage IT projects with overseas teams. The Head of IT should also possess excellent interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills, and be adept at adopting new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
