Associate Vice President, Lending

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Lending to oversee mortgage lending, consumer lending, and collections. The role leads department teams and managers, improves lending processes and member service, and ensures operations meet legal, regulatory, and internal requirements while managing credit, operational, and compliance risks. Responsibilities include monitoring workflow and portfolio performance, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, managing vendor relationships, and supporting departmental budgets. The successful candidate will also develop and implement lending policies, products, processes, and strategies aligned with organizational objectives. Candidates should have 5–10 years of progressively responsible lending experience in banking or a credit union, including management experience leading teams and developing managers. Required expertise includes consumer and mortgage lending, underwriting, credit administration, collections, delinquency management, and loss mitigation, along with experience exercising lending authority and monitoring portfolio quality. A relevant bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and project-management skills are important; experience with a loan origination system is preferred.
