Head of Operations

The Company is seeking a Head of Operations with a strong background in production, manufacturing, and operations, particularly in high-reliability and precision engineering sectors. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 25-30 years' experience in these areas, with a focus on production planning, assembly, integration, and project-based manufacturing. Key responsibilities for the Head of Operations include managing large manufacturing teams, overseeing multiple production activities, and ensuring the delivery of complex engineering products within the specified cost, quality, and schedule. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in PPC, capacity planning, productivity improvement, and shop floor management, as well as strong problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills. Applicants for the Head of Operations position at the company should have a background in high-reliability manufacturing, with a preference for those who have worked in sectors such as defence, aerospace, and space. Experience in manufacturing mission-critical products and with environmental test chambers, motion simulation systems, and precision electromechanical systems is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a history of establishing and managing systems, technical operations, and large-scale teams. While not mandatory, a background in defence PSUs, DRDO, BEL, or similar organizations, as well as experience with military or government engineering/manufacturing entities, is considered advantageous. The role is suited to individuals with a strong leadership style, capable of driving productivity and efficiency in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
