Vice President, Software Engineering Greater Hyderabad, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead the design and delivery of customer-focused digital platforms. Responsibilities include designing critical technology components, overseeing feature implementation, and ensuring code quality, automation, testability, performance, and scalability across cloud and on-premises systems. The role collaborates with global, cross-functional teams to shape product direction, contribute to engineering practices and SDLC guidance, and establish standards for distributed systems. The Vice President will conduct code and system design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders. Candidates must have at least 12 years of work experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Required qualifications include experience with Java, JavaScript, and Spring Boot; designing low-latency, high-throughput, fault-tolerant distributed systems; and developing microservices and APIs. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, along with comfort working in Agile and rapidly changing environments, are essential. Preferred experience includes Kafka or similar messaging technologies, Rx* libraries, databases, AWS, React or Angular, and external-facing websites.
