Associate General Counsel

The Company is in search of an Associate General Counsel with a focus on employment law to join their legal services team. The successful candidate will be a seasoned, collaborative, and practical attorney, serving as a trusted advisor to HR and business partners. This role is dedicated to employment law counseling, with an emphasis on providing day-to-day legal guidance in areas such as employee relations, ADA accommodations, disability and fitness-for-duty matters, absence management, wage and hour law, ERISA and benefits, and immigration-related employment questions. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree, a law license in good standing in Indiana, and 6-8 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with a healthcare background. Key responsibilities for the Associate General Counsel include advising on a wide range of employment law issues, supporting talent acquisition, and reviewing employment-related agreements. The role requires a practical problem solver who can balance legal risk with operational reality and is adept at building strong relationships with HR business partners and leadership teams. The candidate should be a strong communicator, able to explain complex legal matters clearly, and be a practical, trusted advisor.
