Senior Associate General Counsel, Corporate Securities & Finance Attorney Greater Indianapolis, IN Area

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel Senior with a focus on Corporate Securities and Finance. This key legal advisor will be responsible for a wide range of matters, including securities law compliance, public company reporting, corporate finance, and investment and derivative transactions. The role demands a professional with a JD, a current license to practice law, and a minimum of 15 years of specific industry and/or technical legal experience. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing outside counsel, deep expertise in public company securities law and corporate finance, and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented counsel to executives and management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in advising on securities law compliance, SEC reporting requirements, and leading the legal aspects of corporate finance transactions. Strong knowledge of NYSE or comparable public company listing standards, as well as experience with institutional investment transactions, is highly preferred. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to assess and mitigate legal and organizational risk, and to provide legal leadership on complex, high-risk matters. Excellent communication skills, strong judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization are essential. Experience with emerging legal technologies and a demonstrated interest in using them to improve legal service delivery is also a plus.
