Managing Director Greater Jackson, TN Area

The Company is seeking a Managing Director to lead daily manufacturing operations and guide the organization toward its production, quality, customer, and financial objectives. Responsibilities include developing business plans, budgets, and capital plans; improving asset utilization, capacity, efficiency, and cost performance; and overseeing production scheduling, quality programs, equipment maintenance, and process improvements. The role also involves ensuring a safe, secure, and compliant workplace, communicating with employees, and coaching team leaders. The Managing Director will collaborate on product development and business planning, build customer confidence, and lead union negotiations where applicable. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, business administration, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. At least 10 years of relevant manufacturing systems experience, including leadership and process development, and five years of managerial experience are required. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, strong computer skills, and excellent communication, organizational, and project management abilities are expected. The ideal candidate brings analytical problem-solving skills, a continuous improvement mindset, customer focus, and experience developing teams. Experience in rubber compounding and with ERP software is preferred.
