Vice President, Commercial Lender Greater Kansas City, MO Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Lender to manage and grow a commercial loan portfolio while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, cash flow, and risk; structuring and negotiating loan terms; monitoring portfolio performance and regulatory compliance; and proactively managing credit risk. The role also involves presenting loan recommendations and portfolio updates to senior committees, developing new business, strengthening client relationships, and collaborating across teams to support a strong client experience. Candidates should have at least three years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, or credit risk management, along with expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow, and tax return review. A strong understanding of lending regulations and compliance, sound risk judgment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required. A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field—or equivalent experience—is expected. Clear communication, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, ownership, and a solutions-oriented approach are valued.
