Chief Loan Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Loan Officer to lead lending strategy and operations. Responsibilities include developing loan policies and strategies, overseeing loan officers and multiple teams, managing the loan portfolio and assessing risk, and ensuring regulatory compliance and reporting. The role also involves analyzing credit and financial information, supporting business development, maintaining client and stakeholder relationships, and providing strategic recommendations. The Chief Loan Officer will mentor team members and contribute to planning for acquisitions and new branches while supporting safe and sound operations. Candidates should bring at least 15 years of relevant lending experience, including substantial business development and loan expertise, and at least 10 years of people leadership. A bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field is required; graduate-level banking education is preferred. Applicants should have strong knowledge of lending processes and regulations, financial analysis skills, sound judgment, and excellent leadership and communication abilities. Integrity, professionalism, collaboration, and proficiency with common business software and technology are also required.
