Associate Vice President, Financial Crime Detection & Forward Deployment Engineer

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Financial Crime Detection & Forward Deployment Engineer to help deliver safe, production-ready AI capabilities for financial crime investigations. The role supports AI use cases from discovery and prototyping through evaluation, testing, and controlled production release, translating user needs into practical solutions and documenting evidence against quality, safety, risk, and performance measures. The successful candidate will collaborate with investigators, subject-matter experts, product and technology teams, and control functions to test workflows, support adoption, and create user guidance. Responsibilities also include developing reusable engineering components, following established delivery and control practices, supporting monitoring and incident response, and identifying and escalating relevant risks. Candidates should have hands-on Python engineering experience and exposure to PyTorch or an equivalent machine-learning framework through professional, academic, or substantial personal projects. Working knowledge of large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, API integration, evaluation, cloud technologies, automated testing, deployment, and observability is required. Applicants should have contributed to software or AI delivery across stages such as discovery, prototyping, testing, release, or operational support, and be familiar with secure engineering, enterprise integrations, data pipelines, monitoring, resilience, and controlled change. An interest in financial crime investigations, the ability to learn investigation workflows and evidence standards, and effective collaboration with business and technical stakeholders are also important.
