Head of Finance

The Company is in search of a Head of Finance to lead and oversee all financial and accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of financial reporting, ensuring robust controls, and statutory compliance, and managing effective cash flow. This pivotal role involves close partnership with management and business teams to provide valuable financial insights that drive performance and process improvement. The Head of Finance will also be tasked with leading a dedicated finance team, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and championing process enhancements to support business growth. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with an ACCA qualification being mandatory. A minimum of 6 years' of relevant experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years' in a leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation rules, and statutory compliance requirements, with a proven track record in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Experience in the retail sector, particularly in FMCG or high-volume transactional settings, is highly preferred. The role demands advanced analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and financial modeling, and a commercial mindset with practical problem-solving abilities. The Head of Finance will also be expected to have a high level of integrity, excellent communication skills, and adept stakeholder management across multiple functions.
