Chief of Staff, Engineering

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff, Engineering to turn engineering priorities into measurable results. The role partners with senior engineering leaders to run planning and review cycles, translate strategy into clear decisions and actions, and lead high-priority cross-functional initiatives through delivery. Responsibilities include improving reporting, KPIs, delivery visibility, and decision-making, while addressing risks, dependencies, and competing priorities. The Chief of Staff also works with partner functions on budgets, workforce planning, organizational design, and change, using data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve operations. Candidates should have a proven record of delivering complex work across teams, functions, and countries, along with practical understanding of software engineering environments and experience in a global technology or software setting. They should be confident influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders, able to build trust and mobilize others without formal authority, and skilled at handling ambiguity and sensitive issues. Strong written and verbal communication, sound judgment, and experience using data or automation to improve operational processes are required. Relevant backgrounds may include business operations, transformation, program leadership, or engineering operations; prior Chief of Staff experience is not essential.
