Head of Commercial Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Commercial Finance to provide strategic financial oversight across its commercial activities. Responsibilities include advising executive and board-level committees, strengthening financial governance and risk management, and developing reporting, financial models, pricing strategies, forecasts, and business cases. The role will support income generation, contract negotiations, partnerships, and the development of commercial services, while ensuring effective financial controls, income assurance, invoicing, and reconciliation. The successful candidate will also build financial capability across clinical and operational teams and contribute to wider finance leadership. Candidates must be fully qualified CCAB accountants with current active membership and senior finance experience in private healthcare and/or commercial services within a public healthcare setting. Experience contributing financial expertise to commercial strategy, strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, and demonstrated commercial acumen are required. Applicants should understand the relevant public healthcare financial regime and be able to interpret complex financial information to inform decisions.
