Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology and Product Officer (CTPO) to lead the digital transformation of community health systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and owning a single technology and product strategy that is in line with the organization's mission. This role requires a leader with a strong background in technology and product management, particularly in the context of large-scale digital transformation. The CTPO will work closely with government partners to ensure that digital products and platforms are effective, scalable, and integrated into national health strategies. Key responsibilities include technology and product strategy, product management and delivery, architecture, engineering, and security, data, analytics, and AI, as well as government partnership and systems strengthening. Applicants for the CTPO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of technology and product leadership experience, with at least 8 years' in senior leadership roles. Deep technical expertise in software engineering, data architecture, cloud infrastructure, and systems integration is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in AI-enabled product management and experience in leading teams across multiple countries. A strong understanding of Africa's digital ecosystem and health system landscape is also required. The role demands a leader who is impact-driven, with a focus on using technology to improve health outcomes and system performance, and who is adept at engaging with government, donors, and global partners on technology strategy and digital transformation.
