The Company is seeking a VP, Asset Management Data Owner to join their team and take on a pivotal role in building and scaling a mission-critical data product. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the product vision and execution, with a focus on data services that support client reporting, operational workflows, and investment processes. This role demands a builder who is adept at navigating ambiguity, agile in their approach, and capable of transforming complex data challenges into robust, adopted solutions. Key responsibilities include end-to-end delivery for a critical data domain, running the full data ownership agenda, and driving a modernization roadmap that incorporates AI-enabled automation and modern data quality engineering. Applicants must have a proven track record in data management, with at least 10 years of experience in financial services, particularly in the realm of data, technology, and operations within the context of asset and wealth management. The role requires a deep understanding of data concepts, agile delivery, and practical experience with SQL and/or Python. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in AI and Agentic AI for data products, with the ability to identify and implement AI opportunities that enhance data quality and processing. Influencing stakeholders, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional execution are essential. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with AI tooling, data-quality tooling, and modern data platforms.
