Vice President, General Manager, Saks Fifth Avenue

The Company is seeking a Vice President and General Manager to lead store performance and develop an elevated selling and service culture. Responsibilities include guiding store leadership, driving sales and profitability, managing margins and payroll expenses, and ensuring operational standards and performance metrics are met. The role also involves building and developing senior leadership teams, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment, and identifying talent needs and succession plans. The successful candidate will contribute to organizational strategy and promote a customer-focused culture. Candidates should have a four-year degree or equivalent experience and at least 15 years of progressively responsible management experience in retail or a related field. Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to lead teams, coach and mentor others, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and effective at building trust and inspiring others. The role also requires flexibility to travel as needed.
