Head of School

The Company seeks a Head of School to guide its Kindergarten through Grade 8 community into its next chapter. The Head will set a compelling vision, strengthen relationships among students, families, faculty, staff, and trustees, and foster an inclusive culture grounded in the school’s mission. Responsibilities include supporting and evaluating the academic program, leading strategic and operational priorities, and overseeing enrollment, finances, fundraising, and campus planning. The role also calls for building trust and consistency across the community while advancing institutional sustainability and educational quality. Candidates should bring substantial leadership experience in lower and middle school settings, including administrative leadership, academic program development, and classroom teaching. They should understand independent school operations, particularly enrollment management, institutional advancement, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate is an emotionally intelligent, approachable leader with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. Experience with budgeting, fundraising, and recruiting, developing, and retaining faculty and staff is also important.
