Associate Vice President, Academic Enterprise

The Company seeks an Associate Vice President and Executive Director to lead its academic enterprise strategy in Los Angeles. The role will establish priorities and measures of success, align teams and resources, and turn strategic initiatives into measurable outcomes. Responsibilities include building student career pathways and experiential learning opportunities, strengthening faculty and industry engagement, and developing durable relationships with cultural, community, civic, and corporate partners. The leader will also connect local initiatives with the broader institution’s capabilities, support enrollment growth, and cultivate external investment. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience, including five years in senior leadership, or an equivalent combination of experience and training. The role calls for strong operational leadership in complex, cross-functional environments and a record of developing and implementing strategies that advance growth, engagement, enrollment, revenue, or new programs. Candidates should bring exceptional communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and executive-presentation skills, along with the ability to build partnerships, lead multidisciplinary teams, and move initiatives forward through influence. Deep knowledge of Los Angeles and its creative industries, communities, and networks is preferred; an advanced degree is welcome but not required.
