Managing Director, Operations & Compliance

The Company is seeking a Managing Director, Operations & Compliance to lead day-to-day operations and oversee regulatory compliance and corporate governance. The role includes managing internal controls, coordinating external compliance, audit, legal, and financial service providers, and serving as the primary contact for regulatory matters. The successful candidate will report to the board and shareholders, support fundraising teams on operational, legal, and regulatory issues, and contribute to business strategy and growth. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring both strategic oversight and direct involvement in operational tasks. Candidates should have at least 10 years of financial services experience, ideally in investment services, asset management, alternative investments, or capital markets, and prior senior management experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of financial regulation, including MiFID II, AML/KYC, risk management, corporate governance, internal controls, and regulatory reporting is required. Experience managing budgets, audit processes, external providers, and relationships with regulators and senior stakeholders is also important. A university degree in business, economics, law, finance, or a related field, along with advanced Spanish and English, is required.
