Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Client-Facing

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a client-facing focus to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background as an Accounting Executive or CFO and be dedicated to driving business results for mid-size companies. This critical leadership role involves leading client engagements, providing strategic financial recommendations, and managing the day-to-day finance and accounting processes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for business development, including establishing and nurturing client relationships and maintaining a robust pipeline of leads. Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Applicants for the CFO/Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a preference for those holding a CPA and/or MBA. A minimum of 20 years' of progressive finance and accounting experience, including at least 10 years' in a leadership role, is required. The role demands a high level of proficiency in MS Excel and various accounting and ERP systems, as well as the ability to work with multiple clients across different industries. The CFO will be expected to provide leadership and management to both the client's finance and accounting teams and the internal team of professionals. Experience in business development, project management, and a background in mergers, acquisitions, and integrations are also preferred.
