Vice President, DevOps Engineering Greater Mumbai, India Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of DevOps Engineering to lead reliability, risk management, and operational resilience for critical technology services. The role will drive a shift from reactive, human-led support to AI-assisted, signal-driven operations and self-healing systems, while maintaining appropriate human oversight. Responsibilities include establishing reliability practices and measurable service outcomes, improving detection and automated remediation, and embedding observability and resilience into the engineering lifecycle. The leader will also oversee change-aware operations, capacity planning, disaster recovery readiness, auditability, and the development of a high-performing global team. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent practical experience, and at least 10 years of experience across service management, DevOps, SRE, product engineering, or large-scale production operations. Strong hands-on expertise with observability, monitoring, and telemetry platforms is required, along with experience moving teams toward proactive, AI-assisted operations. Applicants should have designed or governed AIOps workflows and automated remediation, and be familiar with change-aware operations, drift detection, reliability governance, and AI-assisted capacity forecasting. End-to-end operational knowledge spanning telemetry, IT service management integration, and automated execution is also essential.
