Chief of Staff, Platform Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff and Head of Platform to work directly with its CEO to build and operate a system that helps portfolio companies scale, while making the organization AI-native. Responsibilities include designing and running AI agents and workflows across sourcing, diligence, investor relations, and finance; recruiting and onboarding operating partners; and equipping them with the context and tools to support portfolio companies. The role also leads founder programs, overseeing their design, cadence, participants, and follow-through. The successful candidate will develop and continuously improve the organization’s operating playbook using insights from board meetings, partner engagements, and founder sessions. Candidates should have experience as Chief of Staff to a founder-CEO at a fast-growing startup or as a founder. They must be proficient with AI and have built agents or workflows that meaningfully changed how a team operates. The role calls for a fast, hands-on builder who can deliver working solutions quickly, communicate clearly, and establish credibility with CEOs and senior operators. A strong commitment to ocean and planetary wellbeing is also required.
