Executive Director

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of promoting a fair, accessible, and independent justice system. The successful candidate will serve as the organization's chief executive, working in close partnership with the Board of Directors to provide strategic leadership and advance the long-term priorities. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, governance, fundraising, external relations, policy advocacy, and organizational operations. The Executive Director will be the principal spokesperson, representing the organization with various stakeholders and building strong relationships across the legal, civic, philanthropic, and public policy communities. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company is a strategic, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven leader with a strong commitment to public service and access to justice. They should have senior leadership experience in a relevant field, a proven track record in fundraising, and excellent communication skills. The role requires a leader with strong judgment, integrity, and the ability to engage effectively across diverse constituencies. While not mandatory, familiarity with the legal and public policy landscape in New York is preferred. The candidate should be prepared to oversee the organization's finances, operations, staff, and governance, ensuring effective execution of the company's mission. A Bachelor's degree is required, and an advanced degree in a related field is welcomed.
