Executive Director, Equity Finance Senior Counsel

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Senior Counsel to provide legal support to equity sales and trading businesses, including financing and securities-lending activities. Responsibilities include advising on margin-lending and securities regulations, drafting and negotiating credit, loan, fund-financing, and securities-financing agreements, and maintaining standard documentation. The role also partners with credit, risk, collateral management, operations, and other internal stakeholders to address legal, operational, and risk matters. Candidates must hold a JD from a U.S. law school and be admitted to the New York State Bar, with at least 8–10 years of legal practice. Experience should include advising equity-finance businesses, particularly on syndicated margin lending, equity repo, and delta-one products. Strong knowledge of securities regulations, including Dodd-Frank, Regulation T, and Regulation U, is required, along with the ability to serve as a trusted business partner.
