Vice President, AI Data Strategy & Program Management Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Data and AI Strategy to turn enterprise strategy and governance frameworks into practical processes across business domains. Responsibilities include implementing data governance standards, maintaining data ownership and quality practices, and developing a centralized data dictionary. The role will oversee external data onboarding and integration, build master data management capabilities, and coordinate stewardship and data lifecycle processes. It will also lead program planning and delivery across the data and AI portfolio, coordinating cross-functional teams and reporting progress, risks, and outcomes to leadership. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience in data strategy, governance, management, or a related field, including three to five or more years leading teams or cross-functional workstreams. They should have demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale data governance or management programs; experience in insurance, financial services, or a related industry is preferred. Working knowledge of master data management, data architecture, modern data platforms, and data governance tools is required. Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and the ability to drive complex initiatives through to completion are essential.
