Vice President of Accounting & Finance, Life Reinsurance

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting & Finance to support the development of a growing life reinsurance platform. Responsibilities include managing accounting reconciliations and investigating discrepancies; understanding reinsurance contracts and related accounting processes; reviewing system feeds, ledger entries, and underlying data; and supporting financial close, management reporting, and analysis. The role will also strengthen internal controls, improve accounting procedures, and coordinate with finance, operations, and actuarial colleagues across international teams. Candidates should have experience in life insurance, life reinsurance, or annuity accounting, along with strong skills in reconciliations, accounting operations, and controls. A solid understanding of how transactions and data flow through accounting systems, experience with US GAAP, and familiarity with US or Bermuda statutory reporting are required. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are important; a CPA qualification is a plus.
