Vice President of Development

The Company is seeking a Director of Development to lead a team of project developers, interconnection specialists, and project development managers in advancing solar and energy storage projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, setting the team's roadmap in alignment with the company's strategy, and managing development budgets and schedules. This role requires a deep understanding of the distributed generation development process, the ability to inspire and motivate a team, and a commitment to working with integrity. The Director of Development will also be involved in team leadership, driving the progression of the development pipeline, and ensuring that all project requirements are met. Key competencies for this role include strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate and adapt in a cross-functional environment, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading high-performing development teams, a Bachelor's degree (Master's or engineering degree preferred), and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in project management, organization, and the ability to prioritize and problem-solve within a complex and dynamic environment are essential. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on development status, driving external parties to support project completion, and implementing effective processes to ensure a smooth flow of projects through the development lifecycle.
