Chief of Staff

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to advise and partner with its Director General, advancing strategic priorities and supporting effective executive decision-making. The role will shape cross-organizational initiatives, lead selected special projects, and monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes. It will strengthen leadership alignment by preparing executive forums, facilitating collaboration across functions and regions, and providing concise, decision-ready analysis and updates. The Chief of Staff will also support selected strategic partnerships and external engagements, ensuring commitments are followed through by the appropriate teams. Success depends on influence, trusted relationships, and clear respect for existing leadership and functional accountabilities. Candidates should hold an advanced university degree in a relevant field and typically have 15 or more years of progressively responsible experience, including senior-level executive advisory work. They must demonstrate success advising executive leaders, leading complex cross-functional initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority, and building high-level partnerships. Exceptional strategic thinking, political judgment, analytical ability, program leadership, facilitation, and communication skills are essential, along with discretion, integrity, resilience, and sound judgment. Experience in international or similarly complex organizations is desirable, as is knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, social justice, and inclusion. Excellent English is required; French or other relevant languages are an advantage.
