Executive Director, HR Planning & Enablement Greater Philadelphia, PA Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of HR Planning and Enablement to shape how Human Resources plans, prioritizes, governs, and delivers work across the enterprise. The role connects business priorities, workforce plans, functional strategies, capacity, and enterprise requests through integrated planning and decision-making processes. Responsibilities include leading workforce architecture governance, portfolio prioritization, operating rhythms, and measures of organizational effectiveness and business impact. This player-coach will personally develop analyses, frameworks, recommendations, and executive materials while leading a small expert team. The role also guides automation and AI-enabled work redesign and partners across functions to align workforce strategy, data, technology, and execution. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree; an advanced degree is preferred, along with generally 12 or more years of progressive experience in Human Resources or a related field. They should bring strong knowledge of HR strategy and operating models, enterprise planning, governance, portfolio management, and cross-functional execution. Relevant experience with job and role architecture, workforce data, skills, compensation, talent, or organization design is required, as is experience shaping automation or AI-enabled work and measuring its outcomes. The role calls for exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-alignment skills, plus experience developing a high-performing team. Comfort with emerging workforce intelligence and automation technologies is expected; direct low-code platform development experience is helpful but not required.
