Vice President, Advancement

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Advancement to lead strategic and tactical fundraising efforts for an education-focused nonprofit. The role will drive growth toward annual fundraising goals through individual giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, and events, while managing a portfolio of major donors and prospects. Responsibilities include building donor relationships, securing annual and multi-year commitments, developing fundraising metrics and stewardship strategies, and collaborating with leadership, committees, and the board. The Vice President will also manage and mentor a small team and coordinate with external vendors on marketing initiatives. Candidates should have approximately 5–7 or more years of relevant fundraising experience and be comfortable collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The role calls for an entrepreneurial, mission-driven, self-directed professional who can set and achieve goals and take accountability for fundraising results. Experience using donor CRM systems and fundraising data to shape strategy is required. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to use metrics to advance fundraising goals are important.
