Vice President, Card Risk Acquisitions Strategy Greater Philadelphia, PA Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Card Risk Acquisitions Strategy to lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of new-account loss forecasts for consumer and small-business portfolios. The role includes setting risk strategy, measurement, and reporting standards; establishing measurable objectives; and advising senior leadership on risk-related decisions. The successful candidate will guide analysts, monitor acquisition strategy performance, and build strong partnerships across business functions and with external partners. They will also identify opportunities to improve risk-adjusted returns while accounting for credit, legal, reputational, and operational risks. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in risk management or financial services and a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in mathematics, finance, statistics, or economics. Strong communication skills, data-mining experience with SAS, SQL, Python, Excel, and database applications, and working knowledge of credit risk models are required. Applicants should be adaptable, analytically strong, and able to apply structured problem-solving and independent judgment to business challenges. An advanced degree and familiarity with machine-learning and logistic-regression models are preferred.
