The Company is seeking a President & General Manager to lead one of its local television stations. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in driving revenue growth, strengthening financial performance, and delivering meaningful community impact. This role is pivotal in setting the market strategy, leading the organization across all platforms, and ensuring high-quality, relevant journalism that serves the community. The President & General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the operation, including content, sales, brand, and operations, and will be expected to build and lead a high-performing team, foster a culture of collaboration and accountability, and drive innovation to better serve audiences and customers. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, business, or a related field, with 7-10 years' experience in a leadership position within a multimedia company. The role requires a leader with strong financial acumen, the ability to manage budgets, and a deep understanding of evolving media consumption, digital, and streaming platforms. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, an inclusive leader, and have a demonstrated ability to represent the organization as a credible and engaged leader in the community. Responsibilities also include developing and managing annual budgets, creating alignment across various functions, and partnering with sales leadership to drive revenue growth.
