Executive Director

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic, operational, financial, and cultural leadership for a complex nonprofit organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will set strategic direction, strengthen organizational sustainability, oversee operations and financial stewardship, and evaluate programs and funding models to improve efficiency and community impact. The role includes guiding organizational change, developing a strong senior leadership team, supporting effective board governance, and fostering an inclusive, accountable workplace culture. The Executive Director will also represent the organization externally and build relationships that support fundraising, partnerships, and its mission. Candidates should bring significant senior leadership experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, human services, youth services, or similarly complex organization, along with a record of leading multidisciplinary teams and navigating organizational change. Strong financial acumen, operational expertise, and experience developing effective leadership teams and inclusive workplace practices are essential. Knowledge of healthcare delivery, community-based services, and related regulatory and funding environments is required; experience with federally qualified health centers, federal health compliance, public health insurance reimbursement, or integrated care is valued. The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with boards, employees, and diverse stakeholders, build external partnerships, and demonstrate a commitment to social justice, health equity, and harm reduction.
